Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Traffic Signal Systems Specialist to join our team! In this role you will provide strategic leadership, integrate advanced ITS technologies, engage with stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee quality control processes for high-impact transportation safety projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

Signal Design and Programming: Design and program traffic signal systems to support optimized traffic flow and ensure safety.

System Integration and Troubleshooting: Integrate signal systems with other ITS components, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.

Maintenance Support: Provide technical support for signal maintenance activities, ensuring that systems remain operational and effective.

Data Collection and Analysis: Monitor and analyze traffic data to identify areas for signal optimization and improvement.

Technical Documentation: Prepare documentation, including system design diagrams, programming instructions, and maintenance guides

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 15+ years of experience with traffic signal systems, including system design, programming, and maintenance.

Strong knowledge of traffic signal hardware, software, and control systems.

Proficiency in traffic signal software (e.g., SYNCHRO, Econolite, Trafficware).

Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team is preferred.

Communication skills in Arabic is preferred.
