Manage and ensure the inbound and outbound transportation of productive and non-productive materials, packaging, and machinery, as well as the finished product of SLPP, using various modes of transportation (air, sea, and land), both for import and export.
Ensure and improve transportation metrics (LSP KPIs) such as utilization and damaged materials.
Manage, develop, and implement projects to optimize transportation logistics processes (air, sea, and land), focusing on achieving savings and meeting Total Logistics Costs for SLP.
Ensure and guarantee the activities of the C-TPAT and OEA programs applicable to transportation. Actively participate in internal and external audits scheduled to ensure compliance with the CTPAT and OEA programs.
Coordinate and ensure reimbursement of expedited costs incurred under the responsibility of transportation LSPs, all of which must be done under the quality process.
Propose logistical solutions to recurring problems in different modes of transportation (air, sea, land), providing support and/or leadership through problem-solving (8Ds) with transportation providers.
Monitor transport performance and adjust routes as needed to improve utilization.
Support the central logistics (GS) team in the bidding processes for transportation providers (air, sea, and land) for the SLP plant as required by the purchasing team.
Promote safety, health, environmental protection, and the improvement of energy performance in accordance with ISO 14001/ISO 45001/ISO 50001 standards in their current versions, as well as compliance with CD03800 and applicable regulations.
