Position Summary: The Traffic Director is responsible for managing the flow of vehicles and pedestrians at a hospital or medical facility. This includes directing guests, delivery drivers, and emergency transport vehicles to appropriate areas, maintaining safety standards, and providing courteous assistance to visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct incoming traffic to designated parking or drop-off areas.
• Assist emergency vehicles and medical transport with clear access.
• Set up and manage traffic control equipment (cones, barricades, signage).
• Provide directions and information to patients and visitors in a friendly manner.
• Monitor traffic patterns and report any safety concerns or incidents.
• Collaborate with hospital security and facilities teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Prior experience in traffic control or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Must have valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
• One year of experience in a related field.
• Familiarity with hospital or healthcare environments.
Work Schedule: Typically full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend or evening shifts depending on hospital needs.
