Trading Support Analyst – FX
Position Description:

IT Support – FX Risk

Work Mode: On-site

Job Description:
Member of a team responsible for first-line support of trading systems, order booking, and FX risk management:

Linear FX: Managing Sigma & Orchestrade transactions, Barracuda orders, IRIS risk management, Deal Hub booking, and related functions.

Non-Linear FX: Managing Orchestrade, Asgard, GMD PS, and THOR transactions for risk and P&L monitoring, along with other related functions.

Provide FX support for the Americas region within a 24/7 global support organization, coordinating with London and New York teams to ensure smooth worldwide FX trading.

Deliver highly responsive service to trading, middle and back office, risk management, and system users, ensuring fast communication, efficient resolution, and proper incident follow-up.

Collaborate closely with FX e-commerce IT support, back-office teams, and project teams to ensure seamless user support and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with FX front office and external parties.

Provide daily high-quality support with rapid resolution and regular communication.

Coordinate with global FX Risk IT teams (London, New York) via daily handover calls.

Take ownership of production incidents, propose solutions, and prevent recurrence.

Proactively monitor systems to identify issues before they impact users.

Follow change management procedures and work with project teams for level 3 support.

Participate in DRP/BCP exercises and regulatory/compliance requirements.

Contribute to local and global periodic reporting.

Ensure user documentation, training, and cross-training within the IT team.

Key Contacts:

Internal: FX front office (trading and sales), global FX Risk IT teams, back office, IT infrastructure teams.

External: Vendors such as Orchestrade, Barracuda, DealHub, and infrastructure providers as needed.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities:

Comply with all legal, regulatory, and internal requirements, complete mandatory training, maintain necessary certifications, and adhere to all conduct rules.

Requirements:

Functional Experience: Minimum 3 years in support or projects on FX trading applications, ability to manage multiple demanding users, explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, informal leadership in production or small project delivery, FX product knowledge, understanding of P&L and risk concepts, fluent in English.

Technical Experience: Support for Windows Server, UNIX (shell/Perl), SQL databases, large batch systems (Control-M), monitoring tools like ITRS Geneos.

Product Experience: Proficient in FX products (Spot, Options, NDF, Forwards, Precious Metals, Swaps), understanding of P&L and sensitivities, full FX product lifecycle knowledge.

Education: Preferably a degree in Computer Science; specialized training on Orchestrade, Sigma, Barracuda, Asgard, and IRIS systems.

Personal Skills: Autonomy, motivation, strong communication, stress resilience, teamwork, and leadership.

Languages: Fluent English; French is an asset.
