Trading Platform Manager - Advisory
As the Senior Manager, Trading Systems Platform, you will be part of the Service & Operations Trading team and provide strategic and tactical leadership for the Rep-as-Portfolio Manager trading platform. You will have accountability for the identification and implementation of system enhancements to increase overall advisor satisfaction, operational effectiveness and reducing firm risk through strong cross organizational and vendor engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide thought leadership and primary oversight for the Rep-As-Portfolio Manager trading platform. Accountable for leading research and analysis (quantitative and qualitative) utilizing data from multiple sources to provide recommendations for improving the platform capabilities, efficiencies, policies, and advisor training/education. Presentation of business materials for awareness and alignment for the strategic and tactical efforts. Cross-organizationally lead change through engagements with Product Managers, Advisors, Trading, Service & Operations, Technology, Marketing, Compliance, Legal and Risk that increases advisor practice efficiency, satisfaction and reduces firm risk. Effectively engage with vendors to lead enhancements including vendor design and implementation to solve a variety of complex system-related changes to meet our priorities. Strong engagement with advisors, vendors and internal technology to troubleshoot vendor issues to resolution. Ensure data accuracy within the platform. Provide trading platform demonstrations to existing and prospective advisors as needed. Responsible for goal setting, managing performance, hiring, coaching and developing staff to promote both individual and team success.  Provide feedback to direct reports through effective performance management practices, ensure employees are developing skills to promote career growth and success

Required Qualifications:

7-10 years' relevant experienceBachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced knowledge of Advisory programs and model delivery capabilitiesKnowledgeable of securities trading processes, tools or other relevant workExperience engaging 3rd party vendors to implement enhancementsProven experience leading collaborative cross-organizational efforts to driving resultsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills using data to identify trends and issuesProven history of working within a highly regulated environmentStrong verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to summarize complex concepts into concise senior leadership communicationsStrong experience working with Advisor practices and handling escalations effectively or relevant customer service experienceAbility to think strategically, while being able to implement tactical plans

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $104,900 - $141,600 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
