An Associate for the SDE Trading Team within Charles Schwab Trust Bank will work with various internal and external business partners to facilitate daily mutual fund trading, dividend processing, and corporate actions for the department. This role provides the opportunity to innovate, streamline processes, and reduce risk while supporting daily processing of trade activity, dividends and corporate actions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, curiosity, attention to detail and thinking in an unexpected way are a must. Candidates will need to communicate effectively within a team environment located across the United States.

You will be:

Establishing and maintaining relationships both within the department and across organizations/enterprisesNotice anomalies in day to day process and help identify process improvements that lead to improved efficiencies and a greater business partner and client experienceUses knowledge of functional area to assist team with strategy and process development

The required hours for this role are: 12:00/12:30pm-9:00 PM Central Time.

What you have
BA/BS preferredAbility to work evening hours and overtime as needed for SDE coverage and Month/Year end dividend processing2-4 years of retirement industry experience required, with an emphasis on Trading OperationsAdvanced Excel Skills including functions (vlookup/sumif/pivot tables) required, Macro building skills a plus2-4 years of retirement industry experience required, with an emphasis on Trading OperationsTrack Record of Mutual Fund Trading, Corporate Actions, and Dividend ProcessingKnowledge of Trust3000 and Legacy systemsAbility to collaborate across multiple levels of the organizationDemonstrated analytical skills that include the ability to research and resolve issues to completionAdaptability to a constant changing work environment the face of day to day changes to processesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProven ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business providers

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
