Trademark Assistant, Group Legal
GN Hearing
**Want to combine operational trademark work with project ownership? Do you want a role where you’re trusted to run trademark operations and manage projects end-to-end? In our team, you will combine portfolio work with real responsibility for process improvements, stakeholder coordination and brand protection across GN’s global business.**
**The team you will be part of**
Group Legal HQ is responsible for the legal aspects of GN’s global business with a focus on securing smooth and commercially minded support to our group functions and global subsidiaries. Our goal is to maintain high standards and consistent operations that align with GN's strategic objectives.
In the Legal IP, Brands and Marketing team, we safeguard and enable GN’s global brands and products. We oversee our trademark and domain portfolios, run online brand protection and customs recordals, support clearance processes, and deliver practical IP and marketing law advice to commercial teams. By partnering with R&D, product, marketing, sales and procurement, we take pride in helping launches move faster and safer, reducing legal and commercial risk, and preserving and growing the value of GN’s brands.
This position is practical in nature, with "assistant" being just the starting point. You will manage day-to-day trademark administration while managing projects and taking responsibility for specific workstreams. You’ll work closely with lawyers, marketers, product teams and external advisors, and you’ll be expected to take initiative, make decisions within scope and see tasks through to completion.
**Your contribution is appreciated, and you will**
+ Manage a large international trademark portfolio (filings, prosecution, renewals, recordals) and interact with foreign agents and trademark offices.
+ Prepare filing instructions and various legal documents, support online takedowns, and run name screenings and legal research
+ Build and improve procedures, templates and internal reporting for the trademark function.
+ Support and coordinate cross functional projects (process improvements, vendor onboarding, automation initiatives) and act as primary contact for certain stakeholders.
+ Handle ad hoc administrative and legal tasks with precision and urgency.
**To perform well in the role, we imagine that you have**
+ A proactive professional who owns tasks, meets deadlines and manage issues to resolution
+ Attention to detail and a commercial mindset — you balance legal accuracy with business practicality
+ Project and stakeholder management skills; able to coordinate multiple stakeholders and lead initiatives
+ Proficient Danish and English communication skills (written and spoken)
+ Experience in using AI tools (e.g., for legal research, drafting, screenings and process automation) while being aware of their limitations and data privacy implications
+ Proficient in using IT tools (MS Office, collaboration platforms); experience with trademark management systems is a plus but not a requirement
+ Some years’ relevant experience (legal assistant, trademark administrator, paralegal, IP coordinator, project manager or similar)
+ Curious, decisive, solution oriented and comfortable taking the initiative
**Qualifications that will make you stand out**
+ Experience with large international trademark portfolios or online brand protection programmes
+ Familiarity with filing and prosecution workflows and vendor management
+ Certification or training in trademark administration, project management or IP law
