Job Summary
As a Trade Support Analyst for Whole Loans within the Securitized Products Group, you will work closely with trading, senior management, technology, audit, compliance, and transaction management. Your primary responsibilities will include timely and accurate entry of transactions for various trading desks, monitoring and performing various controls, and liaising with internal teams to ensure mortgage loans are funded timely. You will gain exposure to the analysis of mortgage loans and work with management and technology on process improvement.
Job Responsibilities
+ Analyze, scrutinize, and upload market data to internal databases for impending trades
+ Perform control reconciliations between various internal systems to confirm accurate trading positions and perform root cause analysis on breaks
+ Produce management metrics
+ Complete operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements
+ Manage the pipeline of trades within internal systems, and produce external reporting for sales, purchases, and securitizations
+ Communicate with front office, management, clients, and other internal departments to support clients, resolve issues, and respond to inquiries
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
+ Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree required
+ Highly organized, extremely detailed, and control-oriented
+ Strong desire to understand the full process and business flow
+ Ability to effectively prioritize and re-prioritize \"on-the-fly\" to meet the competing demands of clients and front office partners
+ Proficient in personal computer use and Microsoft Excel
+ Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
+ Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
+ Ability to work independently (self-motivated and demonstrated leadership abilities) and within a team (strong teamwork skills)
+ Ability to assimilate new products and processes quickly
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
+ Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools a plus: Alteryx, Computer Assisted Software, Visual Basic for Applications
+ Analytical and quantitative aptitude
