Engage daily with external counterparties and traders, managing collateral exposure, counterparty relationships, and supporting the Front Office's needs.

Job Summary: 

As a Trade Specialist within the Stock Borrow Loan Middle Office, you will possess a wide variety of strengths and capabilities. You will liaise with external counterparties & traders on a daily basis. Regulatory reporting, client onboarding, and collateral (cash and stock) management are the main functions of the team, along with the control and clearance of all exceptions and cash flows that the trade lifecycle creates.

 

Job Responsibilities

Perform daily collateral exposure managementManage counterparty relationshipsSupport the daily requirements of the Stock Borrow Loan Front OfficeLiaison with clients, counterparties, and traders to investigate & resolve any trade exceptionsReconciliation & investigation of all key controls within the trade life-cycleProduction of daily metrics in relation to key risk and performance indicatorsSupport the regulatory reporting requirementsSupport the new and incremental client onboarding agenda, working with Know Your Client, Legal, and Credit teamException management and updates to supervisors
