  The Walmart team is seeking a Trade Planning Lead (TPL) to support the Midwest Yogurt customer team with analytics, trade planning, and systems expertise—helping strengthen our strategic partnership with Walmart across yogurt brands like Yoplait, GoGurt, Ratio, Oui, and more. This role supports a business that delivers $420MM+ in annual retail sales, making it one of our most high-profile and dynamic customer partnerships.


In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience with our largest retail customer and partner directly with the Sr. Customer Manager to develop and execute trade plans. You’ll work cross-functionally with Consumer Insights, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Marketing, and have the opportunity to engage directly with Walmart merchandising team. You’ll also gain exposure to Walmart’s innovation pipeline, omnichannel planning, and negotiation strategy, offering a strong foundation in customer development.

Own results across key metrics: profit, volume, spend per caseMaintain and ensure accuracy of trade planning and spending dataMaintain an accurate item-level forecast across 100+ SKUs, ensuring alignment with demand planning and supply chain teamsCollaborate with internal teams to design and execute feature programsChampion trade planner accuracy and educate others on system best practices

Problem Solving & Analytics

Analyze Walmart (Scintilla) and IRI data to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesLeverage customer and consumer insights to drive fact-based recommendations

Selling Expertise & Leadership

Support the team on trade tools and systems in collaboration with the central Trade Planning teamPartner with cross-functional teams to optimize resources and maximize efficiency

Engaging Leadership

Model inclusive leadership behaviors and foster a culture of learning and accountabilityBring your authentic self to work and help elevate team culture and engagement

    

From your STORY to ours

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Bachelor’s degree requiredMinimum of  4–5 years of relevant industry experience in sales, trade planning,  account management, or category insightsDemonstrated strength in analytics and problem solving using tools like Scintilla, IRI, sales dataProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and internal trade planning systems
