Trade & Order Management Functional Lead

Job Description
Insight Global’s client is seeking a Trade Systems expert with strong knowledge of SAP Order Management, Pricing, and OTC processes. This role will play a pivotal part in the upcoming implementation of a new trade platform, Digital Fabric, scheduled for next year.
During the initial 7–8 months, the focus will be on:
• Leading the project timeline and ensuring key milestones are met
• Coordinating with sales operations and sales planning teams to align business needs
• Driving testing, go-live readiness, and project delivery
Once the system is live, the role will transition into:
• Ownership and ongoing support of the trade and sales systems
• Delivering enhancements and optimizations to the tool and cloud environment
• Acting as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders

Skills and Requirements
-5–10 years of IT experience, with a strong background in enterprise systems and solution delivery
-Proven ability to lead projects and manage timelines, ensuring milestones are met on schedule
-Experience collaborating closely with Sales Operations and Sales Planning teams to align technology with business needs
-Hands-on expertise with Trade Systems such as Visual Fabric, SAP TPM, Salesforce, or XTEL
-Solid SAP knowledge, particularly in pricing and pricing conditions
-Strong proficiency with the SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module, including deductions, settlements, deduction management, customer pricing, and pricing contracts
-Demonstrated experience with Customer Master Data management
-Highly self-directed, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
-A proactive, hands-on approach — someone who can roll up their sleeves and dive into the details when needed -Hands-on experience with Digital Fabric for Trade Systems implementation and support
-Strong background in SAP Trade Promotion Management (TPM)
-Solid sales operations experience, with flexibility to leverage expertise across any major ERP platform (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
-Comfortable working in private cloud environments; public cloud knowledge is welcome but not required
