Description Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for international trade and finance? Our client, a highly success international banking organization, is looking for a Trade Operations Analyst to join their Credit Services team—someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing the nuts and bolts of global trade. In this role, you'll take ownership of issuing and managing Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs) and amendments, ensuring every transaction is handled with precision, efficiency, and compliance. You'll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external clients, helping to drive excellence in trade operations. Responsibilities of this position will include: · Draft, review, and issue SBLCs and amendments following internal policies and industry rules (UCP 600, ISP98). · Coordinate timely and accurate delivery of LC documents to customers, beneficiaries, and stakeholders. · Monitor and manage LC transactions from initiation to closure, ensuring compliance and accuracy. · Maintain organized, audit-ready LC files and documentation. · Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Relationship Managers, and Operations to ensure seamless execution. · Support internal audits and reviews by preparing necessary reports and documentation. · Assist with general operations tasks including payment processing, loan administration, data entry, and reporting. Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). · 2+ years of experience in trade finance, specifically with Standby Letters of Credit. · Solid understanding of UCP 600, ISP98, and relevant regulatory frameworks. · Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. · Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
