As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of pre- and post-trading life cycles across all asset classes, with a primary focus on cash movements in and out of client accounts and preparing funding for managed demand deposit accounts. You will coordinate with other business lines to ensure proper funding, applying your knowledge of trade lifecycle processes to identify and resolve issues while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives. Your success will depend on your ability to actively listen, ask insightful questions, and establish productive relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as manage projects and influence outcomes. Job responsibilitiesManage cash movements into and out of client accounts, ensuring accurate allocation and reconciliation of funds.Collaborate with other business lines to facilitate proper funding, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.Develop a foundational understanding of market products and regulations, applying this knowledge to daily operations and decision-making processes.Adapt to tight deadlines by effectively organizing and prioritizing work, while applying a strong logical and analytical mindset to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.Manage primary responsibility is to manage day to day business deliverables, such as release of trade instructions, reopening and settlement of trades from the core settlement systems, inventory/position management and inter-company reconciliation prior to settlement date, among others.Ensure for service quality of the team. Ensure operational procedures are followed and that tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner.Support the process Vice President in their mission to provide top quality operations in support of this global business.Ensure that procedures are documented and that the documentation is updated periodically.Identify requirements for additional controls, Daily investigation and escalation of any issuesParticipate in global and local projects including new business, system enhancements and market rule changes.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skillsAbility to establish productive relationships with internal stakeholders, demonstrating beginning proficiency in stakeholder management.Minimum 5  years of experience in Banking and Financial Services/ Treasury environment or related function. Familiarity with products and services.Experience in Trade Management & Settlements.Strong Control & Audit mindset and understanding of policies/regulations in the industryFlexibility to work on holidays / extended working hours on high volume days, if required.Good PC skills including Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access).Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a background in Economics or Industrial Engineering enhancing understanding of complex financial operations.Experience in finance industry operations, demonstrating capability in managing and optimizing financial processes.Proficiency in VBA, adding value through automation and efficiency improvements in financial operations.Graduate or Post Graduate preferably 5-7 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services/ Treasury environment
