As a Trade Lifecycle Manager II within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of the pre- and post-trading life cycle across all asset classes. Your expertise in trade lifecycle management will be crucial in ensuring all trades are processed on respective platforms, and in coordinating cash movements in and out of client accounts. You will be expected to apply your advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions for varied and complex issues, while ensuring compliance with technical standards and organizational policies. Your role will involve liaising with multiple departments, managing projects, and driving process improvements and automation initiatives. You will also be responsible for establishing productive relationships with internal stakeholders, presenting to senior management, and managing change effectively. Your ability to influence, coupled with your market product knowledge and data & tech literacy, will be key to your success in this role.
Job responsibilitiesMaintaining JIRAs Partner with technology teams to provide obtain data requirements, document to identify solutions, end to end testing and reconciliationCollaboratively manage Sponsor/customer expectations, and interacting with sponsor on a regular basisPartner with Subject Matter Experts to ensure requirements comply with generally accepted processes and principles to comply with internal controlsProvide support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretationConducts detailed business analysis involving complex requirements and processes and presents results to the various stakeholdersCreate detailed Business Requirement documentation or Business Process documentation (as applicable)Understand complex business requirements and provide solutions for operating models and implementation optionsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsMinimum 6 years of experience in complex program management or strategy implementation within a financial services or operations environmentIn depth knowledge of Asset Management or Investment management products, services, market instruments and conventionsAnalytical – Be able to analyze the process flows and ideate on operational improvements.Possess leadership skills, be a strong team player and must have the capability to build good working relationships with cross functional/geographical teams.A proactive approach to people, problem which impact client experience and own the issues and having the determination to follow things through till closure.Ability to manage different complex stakeholder map including senior stakeholders in the Business Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal and ComplianceStrong diagnostic skills with experience in using objective data to drive requirements and issue resolution recommendationsMust be able to concisely explain complex issues and possess a strong written and oral communication skills and be able to present to senior managementBroad knowledge of the systems and business processes in use for the Front-, Mid-, and Back-office functions within Investment ServicesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsStrong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of transaction lifecycle in Custody and/or subject matter expertise in Hedge Funds and Mutual Funds.Strong relationship management and partnership with a large array of constituents; ability to manage by influence to promote change and proactively identify and escalating issues.Required to understand trade life cycle, and have reconciliations background – Good to have client onboarding experience.
