Job Purpose and ImpactThe Trade Execution Specialist is the focal point on trade execution related activites that enables the trading team to achieve their PNL & customer goals. In this role, you will partner with commercial, operation and finance teams, to manage position maintenance, vessel nomination process, cash book preparation and maintenance, as well as various reporting and ad-hoc requests which arise on a regular basis.
Key AccountabilitiesLead trade capture, trade entry, amendments of contractual data and valuation parametersManage nominations process, liaising & coordinating with traders, customers and ops within deadlinesManage desk positions through daily reconciliation and capture intra-day activityEnsure trading cashbook reflects latest agreed terms for open cargoes and vesselsCapture and Report market indicators used for dashboardCollate Data and create the balanced scorecard document on a monthly basisSupport ad hocrequests to collaborate with Global teams to rectify issuesIndependantly solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staffOther duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field Good communication skillsShipping contracts knowledgeComputer literate with strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience in a trading or/and shipping environmentMinimum requirement of 5 years of relevant work experiencePreferred Qualifications
Experience in Maritime industryFamiliar with basic financial conceptsStrong attention to detailExperience with IMOS system Proactive and problem-solving approachStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritizeGood team player and ability to work under pressureOur Offer
