Trade Counter Manager – Electrical Wholesale
Location: Northampton
Salary: £31,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)

We’re on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Trade Counter Manager to lead a busy and fast-paced trade counter within the electrical wholesale sector.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service, thrives in a dynamic environment, and enjoys building strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operation of the trade counter to ensure an exceptional customer experienceGreet and engage with all visitors, providing a warm and professional welcomeKeep the trade counter clean, organised, and well-stocked at all timesEnsure all promotional displays are relevant, attractive, and regularly updatedLead customer loyalty and incentive schemes, games, and seasonal promotionsDrive sales by proactively interacting with customers and identifying opportunitiesCoach, support, and develop trade counter staff to maintain service standardsMonitor and maintain facilities such as the coffee machine, in-store media, and climate controlShare valuable customer feedback with management to help shape future offers and servicesAssist with general tasks including stock replenishment, picking, and warehouse duties when neededWhat We’re Looking For:Previous experience in a trade counter or customer-facing role (electrical wholesale experience is a strong advantage)Confident communicator with excellent customer service skillsA hands-on leader who can motivate others and lead by exampleStrong organisational skills and attention to detailWillingness to get involved in all areas of the branch operationA positive, can-do attitude and the ability to take initiativeThis is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact and take ownership of a key part of the business.
