Trade Compliance Manager
**554497 Trade Compliance Manager** You are a part of a team that is at the core of ensuring that we meet Philips’ promise to comply with trade and transportation regulations. You will be a key player in securing and optimizing the global goods flow by analysis and supporting compliance within US and international regulations governing the transport of dangerous goods, imports and exports, and supply chain security. **Your role:** + Create, update, adhere to and enforce safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. + Primarily focus on compliance for Imports, Exports, Dangerous Goods, and Supply Chain Security including day-to-day tasks for specific shipments/workflows as well as strategic planning to improve processes, programs, and systems for improved compliance and business efficiency. + Provide data and reports regarding the performance of compliance functions within the business unit. + Review inbound and outbound shipping to ensure import/export compliance, to include export licenses, duty drawback, FDA clearance, harmonized tariff codes, FCC, and other governmental agencies. + Implement/maintain local internal control procedures in our quality management system on export control and ensure compliance based on Export Control Laws and Regulations (written communication skills/technical writing skills are a must). This also includes occasionally hosting individual/classroom training sessions on compliance issues. + Classify medical devices, systems and spare parts using the US Harmonized Tariff Schedule, CROSS and other industry tools. + Obtain and maintain partnering governing agency information such as FDA, EPA, etc. + Keeping Philips current with the new and evolving regulations and trade initiatives pertaining to product classification such as ADD/CVD, EPA, duty savings. + At the direction of the manager/lead take on day-to-day projects of varying scope and manage them through to the finish. **You're the right fit if:** + You’ve acquired a minimum of 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Export/Trade Compliance, or related areas + Your skills include technical writing, regulatory analysis, and hands-on experience with import/export documentation, USHTS classification, and trade agency coordination. + You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Customs Administration, or equivalent. + You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position . + You’re a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills; CHB license, IATA/IMDG/49CFR certification, and 5+ years of direct HTS classification experience (especially with medical devices or AD/CVD/PGA knowledge) are preferred. **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. (https://www.careers.philips.com/na/en/our-culture-philips-careers) **Philips Transparency Details** + The pay range for this position in AZ, AR, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, or WV is $79,800 to $127,680 per year. + The pay range for this position in AL, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, or WY is $84,000 to $134,400 per year. + The pay range for this position in AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, or WA State is $88,200 to $141,120 per year. + The pay range for this position in WA, CA, CT, DC, MA, or NJ is $94,080 to $150,528 per year. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
