This role ensures adherence to trade regulations, supports import/export operations, and mitigates compliance risks. **Key Responsibilities:** + Conduct Free Trade Agreements analytics and define the path to implement FTA for the region. + Lead communications between embecta and local consultant on any other custom regulation changes and requirement and enquiry etc. + Work with Global Trade team to define long term embecta trade supporting structure for Asia + Provide analytics to trade war impact and implement mitigation plan + Onboard India Customs declaration, complete SVB and EPR license approval, prepare valuation study and report out + Consolidate and analyze import/export data to identify risks or opportunities for savings + Analysis the embecta trade process and make recommendations to management + Develop corrective action plans based on finding and follow actions through until complete. + Develop KPIs, monitor metrics and performs periodic performance reviews on Customs Brokers. + Calculate and communicate monthly Customs cost savings reporting + Duty budget and variance management + Perform other analytical tasks as required **Qualifications:** + 5-8 years’ experience in logistics and trade compliance. + Success in regulated medical device or pharmaceutical environments. + Experience managing internal and external partners. + Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain and customs. + Working knowledge of regional import/export law, HTS, and FTAs. + Analytical problem-solver with strategic thinking and excellent communication skills. + Strong change management skills and continuous improvement mindset. + High integrity and ability to handle shifting priorities and ambiguity.
