We are seeking an experienced and motivated Trade Compliance Legal Specialist to join our Group Trade Regulation Team. This role will be primarily responsible for supporting our affiliates engaged in logistic and warehouse business with trade compliance matters, focusing on compliance program development and internal compliance control.


Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary trade compliance contact for Lenovo's affiliates, providing guidance and support on all related trade compliance related matters, such as customs, C-TPAT, local license, export control and sanction, etc. Lead and implement trade compliance programs, policies, and procedures tailored to Lenovo's affiliates. Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify compliance gaps and propose corrective actions. Monitor and interpret regulatory changes related to import/export, sanctions, and customs compliance, and other trade compliance areas relevant to the business, ensuring timely updates to internal stakeholders. Coordinate with business units, legal, supply chain, Logistic and warehouse and external stakeholders to ensure compliant operations. Deliver training and awareness programs to promote a culture of trade compliance within the affiliates. Support internal investigations and responses to customs and regulatory authorities, where necessary. Review business contracts to ensure the compliance of the relevant trade laws

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, International Trade, Logistics, or related fields. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in trade compliance, preferably in a logistics company and/or a Big Four Audit firm. Solid knowledge of international trade regulations (e.g., import/export controls, sanctions, HS classification, customs valuation, FTA). Proven experience in managing trade compliance programs and conducting audits. Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills. Proficient in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken). Cantonese is a plus. Additional Locations:  * Hong Kong * Hong Kong
