The Department of Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation in the College of Natural Resources and Environment seeks a Trade and Field Technician for the following responsibilities:

Maintain the department’s Forest Harvesting Laboratory and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Provide technical and logistical support for field projects. Assist faculty, staff, and graduate students with field, shop, and laboratory work. Deliver relevant instruction to department members. Assist with management, planning, and maintenance of the University’s Fishburn Forest property. Facilitate access to the department’s equipment room and vehicle fleet to support teaching and research operations. Maintain FREC Fixed Asset inventory and record keeping to ensure compliance with University policies and procedures.
