Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform.Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers.Our Team Dynamics

Qualifications for the Role

A degree in Electrical / Power Electronics engineer or CFGS in similar fields.+1 year of experience working as Field Service Engineer, with knowledge in measurement technology in the field of power electronics (voltage range up to 4kV) and with IGBT converter technology.Medium-high level of English.Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of Drives, Traction or Wind Power Converters.Independent, structured and initiative way of working.
