Job Title: Tracking AgentJob Description One of our logistics clients on the Southside of Jacksonville is looking to add a tracking agent to their team. As a Tracking Agent, you will be responsible for building and managing a network of carriers, effectively communicating with them through various methods such as phone calls, emails, and portals. You will manage load postings across multiple outlets as per the direction of the Regional Manager, negotiate transportation rates, and maintain a consistent number of 'booked by' as determined by the Regional Manager. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Excel and data entry. + Experience with Outlook and email correspondence. + Knowledge of logistics and freight brokerage. + Skills in tracking and negotiating. + Experience in dispatching and scheduling. + Strong customer service and administrative support skills. Work Environment The work environment offers a laid-back dress code, with standard working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The office has an open floor plan, fostering collaboration among different teams and team leads who all sit together. It is a casual setting with TVs on the floor, promoting a fun, family-like culture.
