Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of running an NCAA Division III Track & Field program by teaching and coaching student athletes, recruiting highly selective high school athletes, developing and implementing competition strategies, and leading practices. A preferred emphasis on a background working with the jumping events
Responsibilities
Writing and implementation of track abd field workouts. Preferred background in the jumping events.
Foster a positive and competitive environment.
Recruiting of qualified student athletes.
Comply with institutional, University Athletic Association, and NCAA rules and regulations.
Assist in the management of home meets.
Assist with cross-country as needed.
Has a moderate/high level of authority to participate in staff meetings, individual planning meetings, and parent-student staffing.
Helps staff to plan and execute events.
Performs other related work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Education:
Master's degree.
Experience:
Minimum of two years of significant and relevant playing or teaching/coaching experience in track and field at the professional, collegiate, or high school level.
Certifications:
Valid Driver’s License.
Technical Knowledge or Skills:
Proficient in computer skills; Microsoft Office and other software.
Preferred Competencies
Excellent communication skills. Familiarity with NCAA rules and Division III philosophy. Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments concurrently.
