At KBR, we are seeking an experienced Product Assurance Engineer supporting the Tube-launched, Optically-tracked, Wireless Guided (TOW) Product Office in Huntsville, AL. The Product Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that systems, products, and processes meet the Department of Defense's stringent quality standards and requirements. This role involves evaluating, testing, and monitoring the development and sustainment of the TOW system, equipment, and software to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and operational specifications. Roles and Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Oversight: Develop and implement quality assurance plans, procedures, and metrics for DoD programs. Monitor manufacturing, testing, and sustainment processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.Compliance Verification: Ensure compliance with DoD regulations, such as MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-810, and ISO standards. Conduct audits and inspections of systems, processes, and deliverables.Testing and Validation: Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing on defense systems and equipment. Validate that systems meet technical specifications and mission requirements.Defect Identification and Resolution: Identify, document, and track defects or non-conformances. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements.Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed quality reports, test results, and compliance documentation. Maintain records of inspections, audits, and certifications.Collaboration: Work closely with program managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met. Provide technical guidance and recommendations to improve quality processes.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.2-5 years of experience.Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

2-5 years’ experience in the quality assurance fieldExperience with the TOW program officeKnowledge of DoD standards and regulationsDetail-oriented with a focus on precision and compliance.Strong understanding of defense systems and operational requirementsAbility to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
