Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Touch Up Rework Operator to join their team. As a Touch Up Rework Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting quality assurance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Touch Up Rework Operator

Location: Milpitas, CA

Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00/hr

Shift: Day (6:30 am – 2:30 pm) or Swing (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm)*

What's the Job?

Execute written/verbal instructions given by supervisor and monitor efficiency and quality of assigned routine tasks. Provide team support by demonstrating work methods to new hires, sharing best practices, and assisting colleagues with minor troubleshooting. Perform hand solder & touch-up rework for SMT & through-hole components, including BGA and ICs, as per IPC-A-610. Install and hand solder all 2nd op. & SMT parts required per MPI & deviation process. Be flexible to work on all SMT and/or T/H components as/when required.

What's Needed?

3-5 years of practical manufacturing experience. 3-5 years of experience using a soldering iron. 3-5 years of experience performing touch up/rework on SMT and thru-hole components. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, BOM, and process instructions. Understanding of ESD, board handling, and safety practices.
