Total Rewards Manager

Position Summary

The Total Rewards Manager will be responsible for driving Hyatt's Total Rewards strategy across the India SWA region. This role will partner closely with business leaders, RVP – Human Resources, India SWA, Area HRDs, hotel HR leads and the Asia Pacific Total Rewards COE to develop and execute competitive, equitable and sustainable compensation and benefits strategies that support Hyatt's business growth and talent agenda.

The role provides end-to-end Total Rewards support, including compensation and benefits design, market analysis, policy development, governance, capability building, and HRIS enablement. With a primary focus on India SWA, this role collaborates with corporate and regional stakeholders to deliver data-driven, market-aligned solutions that enhance talent attraction and retention while ensuring financial discipline and regulatory compliance.

Roles Responsibilities

Total Rewards Strategy Compensation:

Develop and execute the Total Rewards strategy for India SWA aligned with Hyatt's global compensation philosophy and regional business priorities.

Drive market competitiveness through salary surveys, benefits benchmarking and compensation analytics while ensuring internal equity.

Provide consultation to Area HRDs and business leaders on compensation structures, pay positioning, promotions, retention and critical talent decisions.

Use analytics and market intelligence to identify emerging compensation trends and recommend proactive Total Rewards solutions.

Operations for Hubs and Hotels:

Support and guide job evaluation using established methodologies, ensuring consistent role leveling across hotels and hubs.

Support LTIP administration for eligible hub populations, including coordination with Regional and Corporate Total Rewards and external partners where required.

Partner with business leaders on General Manager and senior leadership compensation packages, owner presentations and executive remuneration recommendations.

Lead annual salary planning, review, market benchmarking, incentive planning, tracking and compensation review cycles across hotels and hub offices.

Develop compensation proposals for new hotel openings, organizational changes and strategic workforce initiatives.

Benefits Wellbeing:

Lead the design, governance and continuous enhancement of employee benefits programs across India SWA.

Partner with insurance providers and external consultants to ensure competitive, cost-effective and compliant benefits offerings.

Drive Total Rewards initiatives that enhance the overall colleague wellbeing experience through meaningful benefits, wellbeing programs, and recognition strategies.

Evaluate benefits utilization and effectiveness using data and recommend program enhancements.

Support regional initiatives that strengthen Hyatt's EVP through innovative Total Rewards programs.

Governance, Policy Compliance:

Ensure Total Rewards programs comply with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements across India SWA.

Develop and maintain compensation and benefits policies aligned with Hyatt's global standards.

Partner with Finance, Legal and Corporate Total Rewards to ensure effective governance of annual incentive plans, long-term incentive programs and executive remuneration.

Monitor legislative developments and proactively recommend changes to maintain compliance and minimize organizational risk.

HR Technology Analytics:

Drive Total Rewards workstreams for HR Evolution and Oracle HCM implementation across India SWA.

Drive data quality, reporting and compensation analytics to support informed business decisions.

Develop dashboards and workforce insights that enable business leaders to monitor pay competitiveness, incentive effectiveness and Total Rewards investments.

Identify opportunities to automate and simplify Total Rewards processes through innovation.

Capability Building, Training Stakeholder Management:

Serve as the trusted Total Rewards advisor to Area HRDs, Hotel HRDs, General Managers and regional leadership teams.

Build Total Rewards capability across HR teams through education, coaching and structured learning programs.

Partner with Corporate / ASPAC Total Rewards and other HR COEs to successfully deploy regional and global initiatives.

Experience in designing and implementing regional compensation and benefits strategies.

Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and HR analytics experience.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment

Demonstrated experience in a consulting environment, with strong stakeholder advisory and influencing skills, is preferred.

Experience with Oracle HCM, Workday or similar HR systems, is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related discipline.

Strong understanding of Total Rewards principles and compensation methodologies.

In-depth knowledge of executive compensation, incentive design, salary benchmarking and market analytics.

Knowledge of labour legislation, taxation and benefits regulations in India SWA.
