Partnering with the HR functions in those countries to deliver short to medium term objectives;_ + _In conjunction with business plans, preparing the organization and its employees for changing business needs;_ + _Providing analysis and tactics that are necessary for decision-making regarding employee Compensation and Benefits changes including sensitive projects such as Acquisitions and Divestitures, TUPE and restructuring programmes;_ + _Creating and maintaining policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with local regulations;_ + _Managing the relationships with external vendors for benefits programs;_ + _Protecting the corporation and representing 3M at external forums;_ + _Ensuring compliance with 3M Business Conduct Policies and other policies, and teaching and acting as an example of uncompromising ethics;_ + _Exercising discretion in matters of confidentiality._ **Your Skills and Expertise** To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements: + _An interest in Compensation & Benefits - Specific experience in Compensation & Benefits is not required but you should have experience in HR, Finance or another related field and have an interest in developing in the Total Rewards space._ + _A basic understanding of the labor laws, regulations, and market practices in one or more of the Nordic countries._ + _Strong analytical skills along with keen attention to detail._ + _Ability to lead and manage your own work independently, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach in a remote setting._ + _Ability to manage relationships with external vendors for benefits programs effectively._ + _Experience in managing projects with multiple stakeholders_ + _Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters along with a commitment to uncompromising ethical standards._ + _Must be fluent in both English and a local Nordic language_ **Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:** + _Knowledge of compensation and benefits practices, including experience in developing and managing competitive programs._ + _Experience of working in a multi-national, matrix organization._ + _Flexibility to adjust strategies and approaches in response to changing business needs and regional differences._ + _Ability to think critically and solve complex problems related to compensation and benefits._ + _Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with sensitivity to cultural differences and practices in the Nordic region, fostering effective collaboration across countries._ **Job specifics:** Work Location – This role has an on-site working model with employees working at least 4 days in the office.
