About the role:
In this impactful role as the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Coordinator, you will help guide the site on its journey toward World Class Manufacturing (WCM) by building strong partnerships across teams and delivering a culture of continuous improvement.
Reporting to the NZ Supply Chain Manager, you will steward TPM frameworks, provide clear and meaningful management reporting, and help the organisation understand improvement opportunities—both operationally and financially.
You will champion the development of TPM practices across the site, supporting key metrics such as:
Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF)
Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
Planned Maintenance Compliance (%)
Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Step Progression
Kaizen Event Completion (Safety, Quality, Productivity)
Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
Breakdown Frequency & Duration
Preventive vs Corrective Maintenance Ratios
Early Equipment Management (EEM) maturity indicators
You will have the opportunity to shape how TPM evolves within the business—encouraging collaboration across departments, facilitating problem‑solving conversations, and empowering teams to take ownership of their equipment and processes. You will work independently while still being part of a close, supportive team and contributing to the broader site leadership group.

Ideal qualifications & experience:
A Bachelor degree in Science, Engineering or Technology (preferred).
A sound understanding of chemistry and its relevance in manufacturing processes.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport across diverse teams.
Confidence at working both autonomously and collaboratively.
Curiosity and initiative in Continuous Improvement, ideally with exposure to:
5S
Kaizen / PDCA
Gemba Walks
Root Cause Analysis
A natural ability to engage with people from a variety of backgrounds and roles.
