Job Summary:

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/ Board Certified, fellowship trained Orthopedic Total Joint/Adult Reconstruction Surgeon to join our Musculoskeletal service line in Douglas market. Must be willing to take general orthopedic call at Wellstar Douglas Hospital and build an elective joints practice. Opportunities to do outpatient joints and robotics in the future may exist.

The Wellstar Musculoskeletal service line is comprised of over 20 physicians and APPs, over 22 clinic locations, 10 hospitals, and several ambulatory surgery centers.

Our Orthopedic care teams include orthopedic doctors and surgeons across all sub-specialties, including non-operative sports medicine physicians, registered nurses, physical therapists, pain management specialists, occupational therapists and more, according to patients' needs.

Wellstar Douglas Medical Center is a community hospital with just over 100 beds, located about 20 minutes west of the city right off of I-20. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging to assist providers and patients in getting the care they need quickly and appropriately.
