**Job Summary** 3-5 years experience working as a functional automation engineer in quality assurance + works in Tosca + analysis requirements acceptance criteria and works with development and business teams to create test cases + creates automation test cases to test functionality acceptance criteria and other scenarios + Experience with MS SQL databases and general database querying Priority placed on those with Selenium and Tosca experience however candidates must have extensive Tosca experience. **Responsibilities** + Lead the testing efforts for banking applications ensuring thorough coverage and high-quality outcomes. + Oversee manual data and cloud testing processes to validate application functionality and performance. + Utilize BDD methodologies to create and execute test cases that align with business requirements. + Implement and manage testing frameworks using tools like Cucumber and Selenium to automate repetitive tasks. + Conduct manual end-to-end business process assurance to ensure seamless integration across systems. + Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle. + Provide detailed test metrics and reporting to stakeholders highlighting key insights and areas for improvement. + Manage testing activities using tools such as SNOW RALLY HP ALM and Jira to track progress and issues. + Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices continuously improving testing processes. + Facilitate effective communication between teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and outcomes. + Drive the adoption of testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. + Support the development of basic programming scripts to aid in testing automation and data validation. + Contribute to the overall success of the project by ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet business needs. **Qualifications** + Possess strong experience in BDD manual data testing and manual cloud testing. + Demonstrate proficiency in using Cucumber and Selenium for test automation. + Have a solid understanding of web application testing and test metrics reporting. + Be skilled in using SNOW RALLY HP ALM and Jira for managing testing activities. + Show expertise in manual end-to-end business process assurance. + Exhibit knowledge of testing tools and frameworks relevant to the banking domain. + Have experience in wholesale and retail banking domains. + Be a native English speaker with excellent reading writing and speaking skills. **Certifications Required** ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Manager Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
