About the Role
As a Toolroom Lead, you will support the daily operations of the Toolroom and work closely with maintenance, molding, and engineering teams. Your work ensures our tools are maintained to the highest standards, helping us deliver safe, reliable, and high‑quality products.
What You’ll Do
Dismantle, clean, repair, and reassemble complex multi‑impression tooling.
Use lean tools and techniques to drive continuous improvement and enhance tool reliability.
Support engineering changes by following cGMP procedures and maintaining all required documentation, equipment manuals, QCBD records, and CAD drawing controls.
Manage spare‑parts usage and assist with stock checks.
Follow work instructions and guide other team members as needed.
Interpret technical drawings and evaluate machining methods for various tasks.
Assist toolmakers and apprentices with equipment setup and operation.
Perform precision work to exact tolerances and dimensions.
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to all health & safety requirements, including LOTO procedures.
Carry out other duties as required.

Experience with supervising others

Additional Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Technical qualification or apprenticeship in Toolmaking, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in injection molding or precision tooling environments.
Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is an advantage.
Knowledge of cGMP or regulated manufacturing environments.
Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives and adopt new technologies or processes.
