MISSION:
To dispense tools, dies and other manufacturing supplies, and maintain accurate inventories.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Tool Room Operations.
Objective: to attend the tool room, and dispense tools and supplies.
Typical Activities:
Accepts deliveries of supplies; stores tools and supplies.Fills requisitions for tools, dies, burrs, and other manufacturing supplies.Dispenses tools, dies and supplies.Grinds burrs for reuse.Maintains tool room in clean, orderly manner.Inventory and Recording.
Objective: To maintain inventories and order supplies.
Typical Activities:
Maintains manual or computerized tool and die inventories.Maintains supply records.Tracks inventory levels; orders supplies.Records departmental charges for operating and manufacturing supplies.Safety.
Objective: to take responsibility for and demonstrate safe work practices.
Typical Activities:
Adheres to plant and department safety rules.Safely operates all equipment and tools.Identifies and reports safety problems.Performs other tasks as directed.TRAINING:
Training is provided on the job.Completion of PCC's Fork Lift Driving Safety Certification Training may be required.QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic ability to follow instructions, read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations.
