**Tooling Technician – Aerospace Fastener Manufacturing** An established aerospace fastener manufacturer is seeking to expand its Tooling workforce. The company has been a quality provider of screws and bolts for commercial and military applications for over 25 years. Customers include major OEMs such as Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Bell Helicopter, Gulfstream, and the largest fastener distributors in the country. **Position: Tooling Technician** **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Locate and pull dies and die cards for new jobs + Pull blank dies (carbide and filler) for assembly + Build new dies from prints or routers + Rework dies for heading + Make tooling for heading (knives, quills, and upsets) + Maintain a clean and organized work area + Return dies and die cards after jobs are completed **Skills and Requirements:** + Proficient in the use of micrometers and calipers + Experience operating a lathe and hydraulic press + Strong adherence to health and safety standards, including use of protective gear + Analytical and problem-solving skills + Experience in tool and die making is a plus + High school diploma or equivalent technical degree is preferred **Pay Details:** $18.00 to $21.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
