We are seeking a skilled **Toolmaker** with a strong background in **moldbase machining** . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming and operating moldbase machines, with horizontal milling experience considered a strong plus. This role is critical to ensuring the quality, precision, and reliability of mold components used in our manufacturing operations. **Key Responsibilities** + Program and operate moldbase machining equipment with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. + Utilize CNC and/or manual machines to construct, refurbish, and repair mold components. + Create CNC programs using Mastercam, VISI, or similar software. + Assemble and inspect various types of injection and blow molds. + Use precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions and ensure adherence to tight tolerances. + Maintain clean and organized work areas, adhering to all safety protocols. + Respond promptly to potential or actual safety concerns and follow established emergency procedures. + Support continuous improvement initiatives in products, processes, and systems. + Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production and quality goals. + Work overtime as needed to meet deadlines and production demands. **Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required. + Demonstrated experience in **moldbase machining** (required). + Proficiency in CNC programming (Mastercam, VISI, or similar software). + Ability to accurately read and interpret tooling blueprints. + Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate manual and CNC machines. + Forklift operation skills with the ability to safely maneuver in tight/low clearance areas. + Physical ability to: + Push/pull loads of up to 75 lbs multiple times per shift. + Stand/walk for 8+ hours per shift. + Climb on/off forklifts safely without assistance. **Preferred Skills / Experience** + Horizontal milling experience. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Proven ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. **Benefits:** + Health + Dental + Vision + 401K + PTO If you are interested in joining a growing company, please apply NOW to our Search Consultant Lisa Capizzi at Lisa.Capizzi@Adeccona.com or call Lisa at 585-953-1649. **Pay Details:** $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://uat.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: + The California Fair Chance Act + Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance + Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers + San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance **Massachusetts Candidates Only:** It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
