Job Description

What are your contributions to the team?

Oversee the installation of tooling and equipment in an automotive manufacturing setting, ensuring efficiency and adherence to industry standards.Develop and prepare bid packages for tooling installation projects using the 15% of tooling cost method.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align tooling installation projects with overall production timelines.Monitor and manage the tooling installation process to meet specified deadlines.Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.Maintain continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve tooling installation processes.Develop and manage the budget for tooling installation, ensuring optimal use of resources and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

How to thrive in this role?

Proven experience in tooling and equipment installations within the automotive industry.Strong project management skills and a history of managing large-scale installation projects successfully.Expertise in financial modeling and cost analysis, with experience preparing bid packages using the 15% of tooling cost method.Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with diverse teams andstakeholders.Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to automotive tooling and equipment installation.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
