About this Role

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking an experienced Tooling Coordinator to support and improve tooling programs across the operating unit. This role focuses on standardizing tools, improving tracking and inventory processes, and ensuring cost-effective and reliable tool availability for field operations. The Tooling Coordinator partners with field teams, procurement, and leadership to drive efficiency, reduce tool loss, and support safe, productive job sites.

 

Salary range: $35 – $38 per hour based on experience

What You'll Do Ensure safety is a priority at all times, including proper tool use and inspectionDevelop and maintain standard tool lists and tool packages for field operationsAnalyze tool usage, inventory levels, and costs to improve efficiency and reduce lossCoordinate with field teams to plan tooling needs for upcoming and ongoing workSupport and improve tool tracking systems (ERP, barcode, etc.)Manage tool lifecycle activities including procurement, repair, and replacementBuild and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure cost-effective sourcingConduct basic reporting on inventory, usage, and performance trendsVisit job sites to understand field needs and improve tooling processesSupport inventory control activities such as cycle counts and auditsProvide guidance to support staff assisting with tooling and inventory What You'll Bring Experience with tools, equipment, or mechanical systems in construction or industrial environmentsBackground in inventory, logistics, or supply chain operationsStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to analyze data and improve processesExperience with ERP or inventory systems preferredReliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent required5+ years of relevant experience (tooling, inventory, logistics, or operations)Additional education or certifications preferredSupervisory ResponsibilitiesProvides direction to support staff assisting with tooling and inventory activities What You'll Get
