You will be a key member of our 1LMX controlled tooling team, responsible for leading tooling efforts on a multitude of programs in Grand Prairie and supporting other manufacturing sites as needed. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality tooling solutions that meet the needs of our customers, and we're looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Tooling Lead, you will be responsible for liaising between all programs and functions to meet the needs of our customers as it relates to tooling. You will drive make/buy decisions for tooling requirements, review TIL inputs, and manage the overall tooling load. You will also be expected to drive change with existing tooling processes and quickly adjust best practices to meet the ever-changing demand.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading tooling efforts on a multitude of programs in Grand Prairie and supporting other manufacturing sites as needed
* Liaising between all programs and functions to meet the needs of our customers as it relates to tooling
* Driving make/buy decisions for tooling requirements and reviewing TIL inputs
* Managing the overall tooling load and ensuring that tooling solutions meet customer requirements
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including machining and assembly fabrication, CMM and quality processes, and vendor management
* Leading a strong team across a number of functional backgrounds and driving change with existing tooling processes
* Quickly adjusting best practices to meet the ever-changing demand and ensuring that tooling solutions are delivered on time and within budget

Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain US DoD Security Clearance
- Knowledge of NC Programming and Tool
Design/Tool Planning
- Knowledge of Tool Fabrication
- SAP Experience
- Candidate must be able to communicate
effectively with customers

- Has experience managing cross functional
relationships
- Tool purchasing and deployment experience

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
