JOB SUMMARY:
This position supports the maintenance lines by ensuring that tools are repaired and available for employee use. It entails innovating and replacing tools as needed for aircraft maintenance. In addition to managing tool orders, inventory, and supplier quotes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and deliver requested tools promptly to support maintenance schedules and minimize downtime.Ensure all tools are correctly calibrated, compliant, and ready for operational use to maintain safety and quality standards.Plan and manage tool calibration schedules to prevent delays and ensure continuous readiness.Investigate tool-related issues, assess operational impact, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency.Collaborate with Engineering and Safety teams to integrate tools effectively into workflows.Manage tool procurement and tracking through the company’s online system, submit purchase orders, and maintain accurate records for future requirements.Maintain certified tool spreadsheets and documentation to support audits and compliance checks.Coordinate tooling details and parts with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.Identify opportunities to improve tooling processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.Perform additional duties as required to support maintenance operations and organizational objectives.

EDUCATION:
· Must have a high school education or an equivalent certificate.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in tools management (trouble shooting/repairing) within an aircraft maintenance or similar technical environment.Working knowledge of Part 145 regulations preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software applications.Ability to interpret technical documentation and perform basic shop mathematics accurately.Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Effective communication and customer service skills to support internal and external stakeholders.
