Overview:
Airswift is supporting Cleanroom, Lifesciences, Datacenters, Semiconductor, Advanced STEM businesses in identifying experienced Tool & Install Construction professionals for upcoming large-scale semiconductor and cleanroom infrastructure projects across APAC. These projects typically exceed $1B in investment and require high-caliber talent with proven experience in managing installation packages onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate the installation of high-tech equipment and systems in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, datacenter, or cleanroom environments. Manage tool hookup, equipment integration, and commissioning activities in compliance with project specifications and GMP standards. Interface with OEMs (e.g., ASML, Applied Materials, Lam Research, Tokyo Electron) and ensure proper installation of tools such as lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, and metrology systems. Supervise mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process installation teams, ensuring alignment with project timelines and safety protocols. Support validation and qualification processes for clean utilities, black utilities, HVAC, BMS, and biosafety systems. Collaborate with project engineers, site managers, and construction managers to ensure seamless execution of installation packages. Maintain documentation and reporting for commissioning, tool integration, and system handover.Required Experience:
5+ years of experience in Tool & Install construction roles within semiconductor fabs, cleanrooms, datacenters, or pharmaceutical facilities. Strong background in EPC or PMC environments with exposure to large-scale project delivery. Hands-on experience with equipment hookup, commissioning, and validation. Familiarity with systems such as UPS, CRAC, chillers, AHUs, biosafety cabinets, autoclaves, isolators, and fume hoods. Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, I&C, HVAC, or process disciplines. Experience working with OEMs and managing installation of advanced manufacturing tools.Preferred Backgrounds:
Candidates from PMC & EPC companies Prior involvement in semiconductor or life sciences construction projects. Engineering or technical diploma/degree in a relevant field. #LI-MS20
