Basic Qualifications:
' High School Diploma or equivalent required.
' Minimum of 1+ years in a CNC manufacturing environment.
' Familiarity with CNC machining, cutting tools, and tool crib operations.
' Proficiency in computer systems for inventory tracking and data entry.
' Understanding of aerospace quality control procedures; AS9100 or ISO 9001 experience preferred.
' Experience with ERP/MRP software and purchasing processes (preferred).
' Ability to read and interpret sketches and blueprints.
' Proven ability to process tasks accurately with minimal errors.
' Reliable, adaptable, and capable of adjusting to changing production priorities.
' Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external vendors.
' Strong time management skills and a high level of organizational ability.
' Solid understanding of supply chain management and procurement principles.
Physical Requirements:

Salary: $23.00 /hr. plus Eligibility for Annual Incentive Bonus
Position Overview:
The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for supporting the production department by maintaining, issuing, and monitoring the tooling and equipment required for CNC machining operations on 1st shift ( 4:00am - 2:30pm).
Key Responsibilities:
' Maintain a basic understanding of supply chain processes related to purchasing parts and generating purchase requisitions.
' Support production department goals through effective tool management and organization.
' Maintain accurate records of issued and returned tools to ensure full traceability and accountability.
' Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment to minimize operational delays.
' Receive, store, and issue cutting tools, fixtures, and equipment specifically for CNC machining.
' Inspect returned tools for wear or damage, coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
' Report damaged or worn-out equipment to supervisors promptly.
' Verify incoming inventory against purchase orders to ensure quality and order accuracy.
' Process new equipment by unpacking, examining, and storing items while documenting shortages or damages for supplier resolution.
' Assemble tool kits for the production floor to streamline setup processes.
' Schedule and track preventative maintenance for all tool crib equipment.
' Manage computer-based inventory records in strict compliance with AS9100 standards and company procedures.
' Ensure a secure, organized, and efficient tool crib environment.
' Collaborate with production staff to minimize waiting times and machine downtime.
' Uphold safety and quality standards by following aerospace industry requirements and company policies.
' Execute cross-functional duties and assist in other departments as requested by management.
' Interpret blueprints and technical part drawings to ensure the correct tooling is provided.
Work both independently and collaboratively to meet production deadlines.
