JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. Manager of Solutions Innovation is responsible for establishing and delivering differentiated end-to-end supply chain solutions to Jabil’s internal business units and external customers. Core to the role is being part of a team that manages Jabil’s solutions which give customers, business units and functional areas visibility into their supply chain along with analytics and decision support in the areas of Supply Chain Design, Supply Chain Analytics, Supply & Demand, Operations, Consumer Intelligence and Supplier Management.

The Sr. Manager of Solutions Innovation will provide thought leadership implementing, and optimizing the Transportation Management System (TMS) to support end-to-end logistics operations. This role serves as the functional and technical expert for the TMS platform, ensuring solutions aligning with business needs, operational requirements, and long-term transformation goals, and deliver solutions to the end users.

The position will act as an internal and external consultant regarding Jabil’s Supply Chain system capabilities.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the overall design and architecture of the TMS solution, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Logistics, IT, Carrier Management, Finance, Operations) to translate business requirements into system configurations and integrations.Oversee TMS configuration, workflows, rules, rating structures, carrier connectivity, and data models.Define integration requirements between the TMS and enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, EDI/API, reporting tools).Evaluate system gaps, propose solutions, and manage the design of enhancements or custom development.Support carrier onboarding, testing cycles (SIT, UAT, parallel runs), and go-live readiness.Establish and maintain TMS architecture documentation, data flow diagrams, and configuration standards.Troubleshoot complex issues, identifying root causes and developing long-term corrective actions.Serve as a subject matter expert to guide project teams, advise stakeholders, and ensure best practices in transportation system architecture.Monitor emerging TMS capabilities, industry trends, and technology upgrades to drive continuous improvement.Oversee the development progress of the products with internal and external development teams as well as ITFacilitate value creation with the customers and business units by interpreting the actions derived from solutions, products and servicesIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement of Jabil’s Supply Chain capabilities and tools.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Strong functional knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing operationsHands-on expertise with major TMS platforms (e.g., MercuryGate, e2Open, Blue Yonder, Oracle, SAP TM).Excellent knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and short/long term material/production planningStrong knowledge of supply chain systems, data technologies and processesStrong understanding of transportation operations: parcel, LTL, FTL, ocean, air, and multimodal.Experience with EDI/XML/API integrations and carrier connectivity.Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

Preferred Skills

Experience in large-scale system implementations or logistics transformation programs.Knowledge of data mapping, middleware, and integration tools.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. List disciplinesMinimum of 5 years experience in a supply chain or manufacturing environment with extensive experience working in the area of supply chain solutions5+ years of experience in TMS architecture, configuration, or solution design.Experience working directly with the internal business units and/or external customers
