D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Title Mastery Trainee-WA in the Escrow Department. The right candidate shall be responsible for the timely preparation of all escrow files and ordering all information necessary for the closing of escrow transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Annual salary range $55,000 to $60,000.

Ability to perform all tasks of the Escrow ReceptionistPrepare and send opening letters and “thank you” acknowledgements to all partiesOrder title commitments and distribute to all partiesPrepare receipts for all funds received from customers and/or lendersOrder wire transfers and provide wiring instructionsClear title requirementsPrepare loan packages for return to lenderPrepare simple cash and seller carry back pre-auditsOpen refinance ordersReceive builder report, order survey, contact the lender, obtain hazard insurance, enter basic order information on automated system, and obtain HOA informationSchedule and coordinate times for closingsPrepare copies for disbursement and closing transmittalsMonitor termite inspection requests and other required inspection informationOrder and update payoff/assumption statements as requestedAssist Branch Manager with administrative tasks as requestedAssist Closer/Escrow Officer with final policy disbursement, as directedOn a limited basis, answer customers’ questions and/or telephone calls concerning the administrative process of the parties’ transactions; answer real estate agents’ questions and/or telephone calls concerning the status of their pending filesCancel files according to office procedureConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
