Responsibilities:
Proper titling of new, used and wholesale sales for the dealershipEnsures retail transactions are processed in a timely wayPrepares purchase and trade-in documentationContacts banks to obtain lien releasesPrepares tax and title documentsVerify the costs and transactions for each vehicle saleAssist in creating and processing leasing and loan paperworkPrepares necessary paperwork for submission to the tag agencyEnsures the company’s tag and title work meets state requirementsPrepare and submit all legal transfer documents to the state department of motor vehicles (DMV)Provide additional administrative support as neededDemonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
Qualifications:
1 or more years of title clerk experience in an auto dealership or tag agencyKnowledge of out-of-state titles is a plusPrevious experience working in a busy office environment preferredStrong attention to detailExcellent follow-through skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent
