Description Title Clerk – Temp-to-Hire Pay: $14–$15/hour DOE Schedule: Full-Time, 100% Onsite Location: [Insert City, State] Assignment Length: 90 days Temp-to-Hire Bonus: Monthly bonus upon conversion, averaging $300+ Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Title and Registration Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing incoming vehicle deals for retail channels, ensuring all title and registration documents are handled accurately and in compliance with state requirements. Key Responsibilities: + Maintain and process all documents necessary for vehicle title and registration. + Understand and apply proper Title & Registration (T& R) processes based on state requirements. + Process deals electronically and ensure titles are ordered for all transactions. + Verify titles are properly completed, signed off, and accurate before mailing. + Create and manage FedEx labels for document mailing. + Manage incoming mail for retail locations to complete T& R requirements. + Communicate with titling agencies to ensure complete and accurate deal information. + Use the correct T& R channel for transferring ownership based on transaction type. + Resolve red alert or on-hold transactions promptly. + Research and verify lien recordings. + Handle incoming customer calls and provide information to internal team members. + Maintain strict confidentiality, including protection of personal identifiable information (PII). Requirements Qualifications: + Previous dealership experience required (car sales dealership experience strongly preferred). + Prior office or document processing experience. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. + Exceptional organization skills with the ability to handle high-volume work. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
