Job SummaryNow, if you were to come on board as one of our School Supervisors, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
Oversee the day to day operation of the unit, keep the client updated and manage the client relationship onsite with all client stakeholders Ensure proper execution of all internal programs offered on the FB menu ( i.e. Burger Express, Chef Corbin, Pacific Rim, Around the World, Local Soup & Local menu program) Complete and record cash audits monthly and review with Operations Manager Complete monthly physical inventory counts and reporting Ensure marketing and merchandising standards are adhered to Oversee interviewing, hiring, training, team building, staff development, coaching, performance reviews and if required, progressive discipline Establish and implement a plan for emergencies or illness to ensure access, coverage, etc. Ensure appropriate use and implementation of adequate points of sale to reduce long line-ups and add incremental sales Ensure adherence to approved vending planograms and a wide selection of healthy snacks and impulse items and beverages are available at all times Manage controllable costs including food, labour, paper, cleaning supplies, other inventory, etc. Establish a safe and favourable work environment for all staff and ensure staff are knowledgeable in all areas of food production, service and food safety Ensure vulnerable sector checks are completed and filed for inspection Implement and ensure quality assurance and safe food handling practices are followed Maintain security of assets Provide coverage for other units within a reasonable distance as neededThink you have what it takes to be our School Supervisor? Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role: Past experience with supervising in a food service environment Demonstrated leadership, coaching and supervisory abilities Strong problem solving, organizational and administrative skills Knowledge of food safety, safety and first aid and proper handling of emergencies Emergency First Aid certificate and Advanced Food Safety Training preferred Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook at an intermediate level Excellent verbal and written communication skills
