Job Summary

Sets and clears restaurant tables; stocks all service stations; assists food servers with table service.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting; promptly and consistently reset all service ware as instructed. Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment, including silverware, linen and condiments; wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary. Serve guests beverages, breads and butter and replenishes as necessary; assist servers with food and beverage service. Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area. Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor. Fold napkins throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply. Perform all assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands. Perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests, and greeting and seating guests.

Must have FoodSafe Level 1 & Serving it Right certifications. Previous work experience in restaurants, fine dining level service knowledge and training is an asset. Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a fast paced and high volume environment. Demonstrate positive attitude and professional demeanor. Ability to move, lift, carry, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
