Job Description
We are seeking a Temporary Tire Data Collection Technician in Greensboro, NC to join our team. The role involves manual and digital tire groove depth measurements, structured data collection, and supporting inspection technology validation.
Responsibilities
Conduct manual and digital measurements of tire groove depth.Collect structured data accurately using provided tools.Support validation of inspection technology.Perform quality checks and ensure data accuracy.Document and organize collected data efficiently.Balance teamwork and independent work to complete tasks.Log and tag data using basic computer skills.Engage in physical handwork in garage and field settings.Essential Skills
Experience in data collection and quality checking.Proficient in using a tape measure for surveys.Attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive measurement tasks.Basic computer skills for data logging and tagging.Strong documentation and organizational skills.Ability to work both independently and in a team.Proficiency in data entry and quality control.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Valid driver’s license.Fast learner and proactive communicator.Reliability and consistency in task execution.Prior experience in automotive or tire inspection is advantageous.Familiarity with calipers and depth gauges.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role will be based in garage/workshop and field settings. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Tools and a laptop will be provided for your work, and you will report to the onsite system qualification engineer following approximately two weeks of training.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
