Sanmina Corporation has facilities strategically located in key regions throughout the world.   POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF POSITION: This full-time position is well suited to a highly detail-oriented individual with relevant timekeeping and payroll support experience. As a self motivated individual working within a team, the individual will assist with processing a timely, accurate payroll using the Dayforce timekeeping and payroll system.    JOB DUTIES: ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Reconcile all timecard exceptions such as missed, late or early punches, shift premium, paid, and unpaid leaves. Liaise with managers to discuss hours worked and potential adjustments. Generate shift rotations and work schedules. Review, monitor and ensure accuracy of all electronic timesheets for Sanmina Employees and Agency Associates. Ensure electronic timesheets are authorized and committed to payroll by the specified cut-off dates. Generate weekly reports for Agencies to include hours worked and shift premium. Generate weekly, biweekly and ad-hoc reports for Corporate Finance and Plant Management. Maintain employee profiles and electronic files. Participate in ensuring the successful execution of the bi-weekly Canadian Payroll using Dayforce timekeeping and payroll software for approximately 500 employees. Answer employee questions and concerns regarding payroll; investigate and resolve any discrepancies. Assist Payroll Manager with year-end functions in conjunction with finance and Government requirements, ensuring compliance with the preparation of T4 and other related documents including annual returns. Act as subject matter expert for all timekeeping and payroll related matters, and research and implement best practices to improve department processes and increase efficiency. Provide outstanding service to all employees and external contacts.   OTHER JOB DUTIES Participation in ongoing training and webinars in the Dayforce system regarding new releases, enhancements and upgrades. Some payroll account reconciliation required.   MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (skills, mental requirements, work experience, education, physical requirements):   Minimum prior experience (Type of experience): Strong timekeeping and payroll systems experience preferably with Dayforce software.  Knowledge of current legislation related to Ministry of Labour Standards and payroll.   Minimum skills/knowledge (skills and abilities necessary for position): High degree of attention to detail. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Excellent problem solving/judgment skills. Professional attitude and customer service focus. Good organizational skills. Strong computer systems skills; particularly with MS office Suite of applications with extensive knowledge of Excel. OTHER INFORMATION The compensation range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 annually. This position is for an existing vacancy.
