**Pay Rate:**
_The pay rate for this job is $20 - $20 / hour*_
**What you'll be doing as a TIG Welder:**
+ Perform TIG welding on thin-gauge sheet metal components (primarily cold-rolled steel)
+ Operate spot welding equipment for fixture assemblies and brackets
+ Weld light fixture housings, frames, brackets, and custom-fabricated parts
+ Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job travelers
+ Maintain clean, strong, and visually acceptable welds for production and cosmetic parts
+ Inspect completed welds for quality and dimensional accuracy
+ Work closely with brake press, grinding, and assembly departments to ensure smooth workflow
+ Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and safe
**Available shifts:**
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
**Job requirements:**
+ Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
+ Experience with TIG welding on thin-gauge sheet metal (1+ years preferred)
+ Spot welding experience in a production or fabrication environment
+ Ability to read basic fabrication drawings and measurements
+ Strong attention to detail and consistency
+ Experience working with aluminum and mild steel preferred
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
+ Experience in lighting manufacturing or cosmetic weld work
+ Familiarity with fabrication shop equipment (press brakes, TimeSaver, laser parts, etc.)
+ Production welding experience
+ Ability to stand for extended periods
+ Lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
+ Perform repetitive welding and assembly motions
+ Background check and drug test required
