Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Welder responsible for inspecting and maintaining various dies throughout the plant. The role involves working with different product lines, inspecting mechanical and electrical components, and conducting routine preventative maintenance and repairs on dies that are cracked or not cutting correctly.
ResponsibilitiesOperate overhead crane to move dies to the shop.Conduct inspections on mechanical and electrical components.Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on dies.Utilize TIG welding on stainless steel for grinding and minor repairs.Train into a Tool and Die technician role.Essential SkillsExperience with TIG welding, particularly on stainless steel.Ability to perform grinding and die repairs.Knowledge of tool and die maintenance.Proficiency with overhead crane operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in fabricating guards and racks.Familiarity with PMs and die maintenance.Experience with tig welders, both with and without foot pedals.Why Work Here

Work Environment
The work schedule involves training on first shift for 6-8 weeks, followed by a two-week rotating shift from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Hours are flexible, alternating between 6am-4:30pm and 6pm-4:30am. The role provides opportunities for growth into maintenance team and leadership positions.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.43 - $20.43/hr.
